Memorial Day Weekend has been called one of racing’s greatest weekends and with a huge slate of big races, 2021 was no different. But come Sunday night, all eyes were on 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wisconsin. All three IRA divisions were in the house on what turned out to be a thrilling night. The IRA is extremely proud and humbled to be announced as a RPM Regional Promoter of the Year nominee, something very rare for a series as nominations traditionally go to individual race track operators. Many tracks have published their tentative schedules that include IRA Wisconsin wingLESS and IRA Lightning Sprint dates. We have a few i’s to dot and t’s to cross but we’re close to having both schedules ready for release. NexGen Pumps and IRA Motorsports have come to an agreement that will have the Silver Lake based company taking over Hoosier Race Tire sales for Wilmot Raceway focusing primarily on WI wingLESS Sprints, Lightning Sprints, Modifieds, and Steet Stock tires.
