We regret to inform everyone the difficult and unwanted decision to cancel tonight's races at Wilmot Raceway has been made. The combination of poor weather outlook, already saturated grounds, cool temperatures, fuel prices and tire difficulties are the contributing factors to this decision. We hope to see everyone next week for the IRA / MOWA co-sanctioned show at Fairbury Speedway. This is truly one of the nicest and friendliest facilities in the country. Memorial Day Weekend has been called one of racing’s greatest weekends and with a huge slate of big races, 2021 was no different. The IRA is extremely proud and humbled to be announced as a RPM Regional Promoter of the Year nominee, something very rare for a series as nominations traditionally go to individual race track operators. This is our 3rd consecutive nomination, the most of any series.
