As has become an annual tradition, the Bumper to Bumper IRA 410 winged sprint cars will end their season with the Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships presented by A Main Apparel at thePlymouth Dirt Track. 20 cars again signed in at Wilmot Raceway on August 6th. This marked the first and only time all season that the lightning sprints have been able to race on consecutive weeks due to Mother Nature. 20 IRA lightning sprints signed in for only their 2nd appearance this season at home track Wilmot Raceway on July 30th. Again it was Mike Neau setting quick time during qualifying while Derek Fortier and Adam Schroeder claimed heat race wins. For the fourth time in eight tries this 2022 season, Mother Nature was the only winner at Wilmot Raceway on Saturday, June 25. 18 cars made the trip to Beaver Dam to support night 2 of the World of Outlaws sprint car double header and the night got started with the 16 of Mike Neau claiming quick time in qualifying. We regret to inform everyone the difficult and unwanted decision to cancel tonight's races at Wilmot Raceway has been made. The combination of poor weather outlook, already saturated grounds, cool temperatures, fuel prices and tire difficulties are the contributing factors to this decision. The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints completed a successful Wisconsin doubleheader this past Memorial Day weekend May 28-29, going from northwest to northeast as they kicked off their weekend at the banked wide third-mile Rice Lake Speedway.
